Outside the course and tour schedule, kayaks are available for rent to people who have completed a Paddle 1 course or have equivalent skills. If there are multiple participants, at least one person must have the required kayaking skills. For complete beginners, rentals are executed as guided tours. Kayak renters must know how to swim, as kayaking buoyancy aids are not designed for non-swimmers.

Rental includes single kayak, paddle, spray skirt and buoyancy vest.

The kayaks available for rent are as follows:

• There are two Rainbow Oasis kayaks

• Venture Easky 15

• Perception Expression 15

• Dag Miwok

• There are two junior size kayaks: Perception Carolina 12 XS. These are suitable for paddlers around 130-160cm tall.
